Chief Executive Officer
Tadhg is CEO at Athora Ireland and is responsible for developing Athora’s reinsurance business out of Ireland. Initially appointed to the role in July 2018, he acted as Athora’s Group Chief Actuary on an interim basis from January 2022 to March 2023.
Tadhg has almost three decades of experience in the Irish and international life insurance and reinsurance industry. He has held several leadership roles at Athora Ireland (formerly Aegon Ireland) since joining the company in 2008 including Chief Financial Officer, Head of Actuarial and Head of Solvency II. Prior to that, he was a senior manager in the High Net Worth division of Irish Life & Permanent plc.
Tadhg holds a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial & Financial Studies from University College Dublin and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (Ireland).
