Wendy Yu

Wendy is Chief Pricing Officer at Athora Life Re.

Wendy has extensive actuarial experience focusing on product development, pricing and investments. Previously, she was Vice President, Global Acquisitions at Reinsurance Group of America. She led pricing and due diligence activities and worked with clients to allocate risks, increase deal certainty and create value. Prior to that, Wendy was Assistant Vice President, Investment Strategy at Manulife / John Hancock where she developed investment strategies for insurance businesses with assets under management exceeding CAD 100 billion. 

Wendy holds a Bachelor of Mathematics, Honors Actuarial Science with a Computer Science Minor from the University of Waterloo. She is a fellow of the Society of Actuaries.
