Information on data processing at events

Athora Deutschland Holding GmbH & Co. KG (hereafter referred to as Athora) processes personal data as part of the organisation of the “Political Dialogue Forum on Life Insurance” event. In order to inform you about the data processing and your rights and to comply with its duty to provide information in accordance with Articles 13 and 14 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Athora provides you with the following information:

  • Participant management

  • Photographs and video recordings will be taken of persons attending the Athora “Political Dialogue Forum on Life Insurance”.

  • Images and video recordings created by Athora will be published for public relations purposes.

  • Security measures for German Bundestag require participant’s date & place of birth.

3. Legal basis for data collection

Article 6, para. 1, point a of the GDPR 

4. Categories of personal data processed

The personal data concerning you includes contact details, date & place of birth, images and video recordings. 

5. Intention to transfer personal data to recipients in a third country or to an international organisation

There is no intention to transfer your data to a recipient in a third country (countries outside the European Union and the European Economic Area) or to an international organisation. 

6. Recipients of the data

The image material is provided both as part of public relations (publications and the Athora website) and internally to Athora employees (intranet).

As the data subject, you have the right to access (Article 15 GDPR), the right to rectification (Article 16 GDPR), erasure (Article 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR), the right to data portability (Article 20 GDPR) and the right to object to processing (Article 21 GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection and information security officer responsible for Athora.

No automated decision-making takes place.

Registrants (participants) and participants at the event.

11. Basis for the provision of your data and the consequences of not providing personal data

It is not possible to participate in Athora's “Political Dialogue Forum on Life Insurance” without providing contact details.
