Group Chief People & Culture Officer
Joanna was appointed Group Chief People & Culture Officer at Athora in June 2023. She is responsible for leading Athora’s group-wide People and Culture strategy and building and optimising scalable, world-class people and talent systems.
Joanna brings almost three decades of people and culture experience to Athora, having worked in various HR generalist roles across diverse sectors including financial services, payments, mining and construction in Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia. She has a strong focus on mentoring and coaching, having served on the board of a women’s mentoring programme in Hong Kong.
Joanna has masters’ degrees in Organisational Psychology from Birkbeck, University of London (UK) and Human Resource Management from Curtin University (Perth, Australia) and a bachelor’s degree in Politics, Philosophy and Sociology from Murdoch University (Perth, Australia).
